Lorraine Richardson, MA(Cantab), Solicitor, specialising in residential conveyancing in a practice in Suffolk. Lorraine has a wealth of experience, and is also a co-editor of the popular and practical Law Society publication “Conveyancing Forms and Procedures”.
Helen Swaffield is a Barrister and a freelance training consultant with 20 years experience in commercial practice. As well as working with government bodies and leading firms of solicitors in a range of commercial and in house projects, she continues to advise top FTSE 100 companies on their commercial documentation and practices. Helen contributes to journals and is a visiting lecturer in European Law at Wolverhampton University.
Vincent Denham has more than fifteen years experience working with lawyers, both as an independent consultant and an executive manager.
He is presently Chief Executive with St John’s Chambers in Bristol. Prior to joining St John’s, he was National Business Development Director with Sydney firm Piper Alderman.
He was the first Chief Executive at St Philip’s Chambers in Birmingham; under his direction, St Philip’s won two national Chambers of the Year titles (The Lawyer and Legal Business) and was widely recognised as being at the leading edge of reform at the Bar.
His specific areas of interest are in developing effective law firm or chambers management structures, business planning and strategy reviews as well as specific marketing, business development and sales initiatives.
He has a special interest in partnership performance management and in successfully resolving tensions around partnership remuneration issues.
